Industry Accreditation

 

What does it mean

 

At long last accreditation has come to the Indoor Plant Hire Industry. 

 

Action Indoor Plant Hire has been accredited, making us one of three accredited business in Queensland (November 2006). 

 

NIPA Accreditation is a transparent system or process for providing public confidence and accountability through a tool utilised for improvement in the "Indoor Plant Hire Industry" in Australia.  It stamps a company as a quality supplier.

 

Accreditation provides differentiation and recognition based on developed standards.

 

Accredited Indoor Plant Hire Businesses will display the NIPA Accreditation Logo.  It will indicate the  companies commitment to quality management through continual improvement of product and customer service.

 

This logo will also mean that the management team has met the rigorous standards imposed by the national industry body, and has made a commitment to regular industry assessment.

 

Accreditation must be renewed every 2 years.  One important part of renewal is evidence of Continual Professional Development.  Action Indoor Plant Hire has been renewed for another 2 years (September 2008).

NIPA Accreditation Program

In supporting the Green Building Council, the National Interior Plantscape Association (NIPA) has been encouraged to develop an accreditation program for those operating within the indoor plant hire sector throughout Australia.  This accreditation is identified (by NIPA) as part of the compliance requirements under the Green Star Office Interiors - Compliance Criteria "IEQ-15 Indoor Plants".

 

NIPA has been proactive in developing this accreditation process and it is hoped this process will be the catalyst to lift the use of interior plants within major facilities and new building construction.

 

NIPA Accreditation promises a basic level of integrity and quality in an Indoor Plant Hire businesses approach to its management practices, products and services through a process that examines many areas of the operation. The Accreditation process reveals publicly whether or not an Indoor Plant Hire company will hold the public trust and helps to ensure high-quality Industry supply and maintenance.


Accreditation is a completely voluntary, non-governmental review process undertaken by the National Interior Plantscape Association (NIPA) for the benefit of the public/consumer and its members.
